The creatinine clearance compares the level of creatinine in urine with the creatinine level in the blood. The result aids in monitoring the kidney function.


How to calculate creatinine clearance

Cockcroft-Gault formula:

GFR = (140-age) * (Wt in kg) * (0.85 if female) / (72 * Cr)
